A specialist maternity and pediatric hospital serving western Omdurman
Umbada Maternal & Child Health Hospital — a €2 million specialist facility serving one of Omdurman's densest districts, with delivery wards, pediatric wings and generous waiting halls.
Delivery was designed around the user: short emergency routes, natural light and ventilation for wards, and easy-to-sterilize medical finishes built for heavy daily use.

Building a health facility inside a dense, inhabited district: restricted equipment movement, noise and dust to be controlled, and a schedule respecting the community's urgent need for the service.
A logistics plan with considerate working hours and full dust screening; phased delivery that opened first departments early; and continuous community liaison throughout the works.
