About the Project

Building the future with LSF

The Dabaywa Hotel in Port Sudan — a $5 million modern hospitality project built with light steel framing (LSF), among the first hotel applications of the system at this scale in Sudan.

We chose LSF for sound engineering and economic reasons: faster erection compressing the schedule, lighter weight reducing foundations, excellent thermal insulation for the coastal climate, and factory precision controlling quality.

Scope of Works

  • Factory-made LSF structures
  • Modern hotel rooms and suites
  • Contemporary warm-toned facades
  • Outdoor areas and open lounges
  • Complete hotel operating systems

THE CHALLENGE

The Challenge

Introducing a new construction technology to the local market: importing factory LSF components, training erection crews on an unfamiliar system, and satisfying local inspection bodies with a building that departs from the concrete norm.

OUR SOLUTION

The Solution

A direct supply partnership with the system manufacturer including crew training, precise shop modeling before shipping, and a full technical file of the system's international certifications that eased local inspections.
